The game (including all the Quests) is RESET at Midnight. So, don't forget to buy a sundial, it works even at night (ROFL, no need to buy a Moondial), but not in buildings or undergrounds! You will then have a chance to be the first in Undersands or Bloodletter and get the treasure... ;-)

One hour in Athasian TIME equals to 15 minutes OOC (Out Of Character)... So you can calculate when you have to be ready for questing.

UNDERDARK and ASTRAL quests doesn't reset at midnight, but at a certain OOC hour. You just need to find the correct hour!

You want to PASS ITEMS between you chars? The best solution is using a friend to hold them as you switch characters. You can also rest (in Golden Inix) and exit game while holding a bag in your hand, you will still have the bag in the hand of your next character (unless you punt, in that case you'll loose everything)... If you want to pass several bags of items, you can hide them behind the walls of some shops like Trici and Prata, but this is not very recommended as anybody can steal them when you are switching characters.

Beware when you GIVE ITEMS to friends. If you give him a full bag and he is overloaded, the items will go back to your inventory, but if you don't have enough free slots, the remaining items will vanish and are lost.

Are you a CRIMINAL? Beg a Pardon book to a *Templar or *Guard when they are here, to clear your criminal record.

You are in combat and want to check your spell effects real quick? ALT-E is the solution, then hit Esc to come back. Very useful in PvP...

Yes, there is still a way to find PLENTY OF MAGIC ITEMS without questing (and without cheating, of course). This is very similar to what you could do in Altaruk beach in the young days of Dark Sun... Save that you don't need a shovel.
