But the team has big plans for the future too, starting with a limited F2P trial set to arrive in July that will allow anyone to pick up and play the game up to level 15. Muzyka also revealed a new trailer heralding upcoming new companions (including an HK assassin droid), level cap increases, enhanced story, a new PvP warzone (Ancient Hypergates), new playable species (the Cathar), a new version of the nightmare difficulty mode, a new endgame operation (Terror From Beyond), a new space combat mission, and a new planet called Makeb, complete with requisite storylines.
The content is looking great! Now just give us Rated Warzones and server transfers!
Increasing the level cap seems like a desperate attempt to keep subs playing. It also creates another tier of PVP, which further splits that population up causing longer que times at high levels. Most likely also creating another PVE tier with new gear req. Cross server ques for PVP and an expanded LFG tool for PVE should've come first in my opinion. This seems more like a band aid than a fix to the current problems.
They add another planet that should've been used as a world PVP hub, but instead is just more PVE content. At most maybe its 4hrs of extra gameplay. Maybe they have some daily missions for it, but does that really count?
New class abilities isn't really needed, and could cause balance issues.
The new space mission is simply that another space mission. Maybe 3 to 9mins of new content.
Seems we could expect an OP every patch, which could add many hours of gameplay due to difficulty.
New species/companion is meh.
A new warzone is cool, but other PVP changes are much more important.
Its seems like Bioware has a lot of a staff to create content, but almost no staff to fix the core issues.
