Lords of the Dead

Lords of the Dead guild message board.

In my experience thus far in Ascent: Infinite Realm, the new mmo coming from Bluehole Studios, is one of hectic choices and confusion ultimately leading into exaltation. The entirety of our Realm versus Realm experience broke down into two phases: attack and defense. Realm versus Realm combat breaks down into phases, each one on a timer. If you're the defender, protect your core. Obviously, as an attacker, you're tasked with destroying that core. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Continue reading...
[IMG] Out of all the various event rewards I’ve gotten in Final Fantasy XIV, Legacy status is the only one that a new player couldn’t also acquire. Of course, that’s a pretty significant reward, since it means that it actually costs me less to subscribe to the game for all eternity. But every other holiday event item is still available; it’s [...] This article was published by the word-wranglers at Massively Overpowered. Please review our terms of use for feeds. If you've ever had a Blade & Soul account, you'll want to log in to claim your free Lost Continent Explorer's Pack that includes a free level 50 boost, a Training Equipment Chest, a Training Gem Pouch and a Training Consumables Pack. Skyrim is one of those games that I'll play again and again, and apparently buy again and again. I've bought it at least three different times now, and I'm thankful Bethesda saw fit to send us a review copy of Skyrim for the Switch to review on the site. Finally, one of the best open world RPGs of all time is truly portable. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, it's still just as fun as ever. This is our Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Switch review. The Dark & Light Steam page has been updated with a further look at today's update that includes the game's second PvE dungeon called The Scalding Abyss. As the name implies, this is one hot dungeon as it is set within the volcano at World's End. Players will be facing off against a number of new enemies including the Ashen Fist Goblin, Molten Artificer, Emberling, Scalding Wyrm and the big boy himself, Bel'xahl the Scorched, dominion holder of the volcano. [IMG] Turns out that World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is already setting records well before it releases. How? Well, it had a very nice diorama at BlizzCon. A very nice, very big diorama, one that featured a huge number of attendee characters individually printed in 3-D and arranged on the sprawling battleground between the Horde and the Alliance. And said [...] This article was published by the word-wranglers at Massively Overpowered. Please review our terms of use for feeds. Continue reading...
[IMG] Scroll back in your brain a decade to 2007, when Sparkplay announced it was building an MMORPG called Earth Eternal, a free-to-play, microtransaction-based MMO (yes, that early) notable for its purely anthropomorphic races, PvP, and clan-centric gameplay, which actually had a solid if small following and earned plenty of praise. Following an open beta in 2009, Sparkplay went bankrupt and [...] This article was published by the word-wranglers at Massively Overpowered. Please review our terms of use for feeds. In celebration of the thirteenth anniversary of the launch of World of Warcraft, Blizzard has raided the Old Bosses' Home to trot out a number of old favorites for players to take on. These old geezers ain't toothless either. Each of them has been updated to Legion's level for the event and can drop iLevel 900 gear. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Continue reading...
[IMG] When you’ve got a club full of penguins overseen by the Mouse House itself, you know things are going to get both wacky and weird! Club Penguin may not be everyone’s go-to MMO for music, but its wide array of simplified genres certainly give the Battle Bards a lot to discuss on this week’s show. Battle Bards is a bi-weekly podcast that alternates [...] This article was published by the word-wranglers at Massively Overpowered. Please review our terms of use for feeds. Continue reading...
