    • Ram: DDR4 16Gb Corsair Vengence 2800mhz

    • HDD: M6e M.2 plextor 512 GB 32x PCI-E SSD drive
this works wonders with the new Asus Deluxe x99 since it gets up to speeds of 32gb/S!!!!

    1TB SSD? WoW!

Hybrid drives. They have like a 5-10gig nand flash sector that controls the read/write - but they are still platter drives.

they say 'the best of both worlds'

though 500g SSD's are coming down in price every day.

I've been looking at SSD's for a possible upgrade before release as well - my M4 is great and has been a tank - but it's time to upgrade :)

Wonder how the new chips compare to my x79 ASUS RAMPAGE/i7 - 3790x

Well I'll tell you tomorrow xD currently got the asus rampage iv extreme with a 3930k

And yep the hybrid has a 100gb NAND pcb
Then a Samsung spin drive connected basically the ssd is a cache drive which turns the spin disk into a incredibly fast drive I'm getting 450MB write speeds with almost a 1gb read speed.

    But my new plextor
M6e m.2 drive will be true 700 mob write and 1.5gb read sitting in a 32x pcie read system it's insane I can't wait to try it out.

Oh, hybrid. Yeah, owned one of those. Not bad, but not as good as the real deal.

woo its all here and all in and it runs like a dream, well actually windows 7 it wasnt as smooth so I went to 8.1 and it runs a good 200% faster due to the windows updates on windows 7 needing extra things just to get it working well windows 8.1 just had it all there

I am interested depending on the price - that would be a great upgrade for shays rig.

she's running the 2500k set up - which is great - but the 3930 and rampage stuff just kills it.

All my water cooling on my rampage set up is EK too, the 360mil triple rad set up - was a blast to install - I'm finally about to add my first bit of water to the loop after... 4 years. It's like a cup low.

And I thought the 7+ blue screens / hard crashes I've had since Friday while running Archeage was bad.
