📣 Welcome our next to LotD’s member spotlight! 📣 This spotlight is on Ricecooker, one of our guild Raid Leaders. As a fellow PvE enthusiast, I may have to check out Nier: Automata after this. ⚔️

How long have you been in LotD?

I joined LOTD a few months after Wildstar came out, so that was about 2014? So, it’s been about 8 years since I joined.

What games are you playing right now?

I’m currently playing Lost Ark and I recently picked up Tower of Fantasy on the side. If I’m bored at work, I boot up Arknights every now and then.

What is your all-time favorite game?

My favorite all-time game is Nier: Automata. The story is great and the combat is unparalleled compared to other single player games. It’s a game I can boot up and still enjoy thoroughly. It’s the one game I highly recommend to anyone if they haven’t played it.

What do you like most about LotD?

I like the sense of community the most. Even if people end up quitting certain chapters, I know I’ll be able to play future games with the same people. Even if I take a few months off from playing with the guild, I always check to see if the guild has a chapter for any upcoming multiplayer games.

When do you have the best time doing in games?

I thoroughly enjoy group PVE content, so I tend to gravitate to games that have smaller scale such as 4 man content or larger scale content such as raids. If any game has any sort of endgame PVE content, I’ll always try it out. There’s a running joke in the guild that if I join a chapter with a PVE focus, I’ll end up becoming the raid leader for the guild even when I don’t join as an officer. This happened back when we played WoW, a little bit in Final Fantasy XIV, and now I’m the raid lead of Lost Ark.

Favorite gaming memory?

I don’t really have one since this can change from game to game.

Are you a dog or cat person? There is only one right answer

Neither. both have their pros and cons, and I’m not a big animal person.
